JEC World 2023 lived up to expectations as a great experience with opportunities to learn, discuss and advise in the ever expanding world of composite materials. bigHead Bonding Fasteners were a key element of the Bossard Group stand. The electric vehicle (EV) industry was a major topic at the show and one in which fasteners are needed everywhere, from the battery to the chassis to the body in white.

We were able to showcase our broad-based engineering know-how, guidance, and myriad fastening solutions for the EV composites components industry. The relatively young arena of composite material usage in automotives exposes new challenges for design engineers, especially in the requirements for fastening elements. Working with an experienced partner such as bigHead is invaluable in preventing dead-end trials, enabling our clients to reach the optimal solution as quickly as possible, allowing our engineers, as project partners, to direct them through the labyrinth of possible solutions.
