Oli joins from Cranfield University where he was a Research Assistant and completed a master’s degree in Automotive Engineering. Oli conducted extensive research on the use of commercially viable thermoplastic and recycled carbon fibre reinforced polymers and was awarded IMechE Best Student in 2020. Oli’s appointment will further bigHead’s investment in providing innovative fastening solutions to engineers designing and making products with composite materials. Oli is currently developing a way to streamline the integration of bigHead fasteners in the SMC composite moulding process which will saving customers’ time and production costs. Oli said *“**I am passionate about designing innovative, sustainable solutions for design engineers. Through my role at bigHead I will be working with customers and technology partners on real-life applications to find the optimal solution.
